The balloons represent the amount of rainfall each year. The diameter of the balloon is equal to the amount of rainfall each year.

This poster/project is comparing the amount of rainfall with the species richness each year. Species richness is a measurement of how many different species of plants can be found in a given area.

This project used claymation to represent the differences in species richness in two different types of plots. One plot was a cresote bush plot and the other was a grassland plot. Notice the excellent use on material on the board.

This project compared plant species richness with precipitation on the Jornada Experimental Range. The rain drops represent rainfall, and the leaves on the plant represent the number of different plant species found each year.
