Alexis Black BS, MST

I am a native born New Mexican. I have lived in Alamogordo, Albuquerque, and Las Cruces. I have spent over 20 years in Cruces so I guess I am now from here! I attended NMSU and earned my bachelor's in secondary education with a minor in Biology. I spent one year teaching in Houston, Texas and then ran back to New Mexico. I spent 12 years teaching in Chaparral and decided in 2012 that I needed to stop commuting and work closer to home. I also attended New Mexico Tech and earned my masters in Science Teaching in May 2012.

I have been married since 2003 and we have two boys. I spend most of my down time from school with my family. I also enjoying reading detective novels and murder mysteries.
